CLUB FEES and DUES

Guest/Gift Flights 

  • $130 for a 20-30 minute flight with a 3000 ft. tow with a Glider Pilot.

  • $230 for a Mile High Tow (5,280 ft above ground!) tow with a Glider Pilot.

Aerotows 

  • Normal Tow Fee = $15 + $10.00/1000 ft.  (charged to nearest 100' increment) 

    • 1000 ft. = $23.00 

    • 2000 ft. = $33.00 

    • 3000 ft. = $43.00, etc. 

  • Retrieval Aerotows = Normal Tow Fee + Tow Plane Tach Time at hourly Rental Rate below (Notes: Max Tow Fee of 3K'. Tow Plane fee waived for Club ships landing at local airports Merillat, Betz, and Loars)

Aircraft Rental 

  • K-7 = $19/hour ($50 Max Daily charge & No Time Limit per flight) 

  • K-13 = $19/hour

  • Grob 103 = $28/hour

  • K-21 = $28/hour 

  • ASW-15 = $31/hour 

  • Pawnee Towplane = $60/hour wet

Club Initiation Fees 

  • Pilot Member = $350

  • Family Member (Spouse or child) = $100 

  • Student Member (Students age 14 to 22) = $150

​

Annual Dues 

  • Pilot Member = $300 

  • Family Member (Spouse or child) = $110 

  • Student Member (Students age 14 to 22) = $110 

  • Soaring Society of America = $75 (required for active member for insurance purpose)
