Membership Types

We welcome new members with no flying experience to existing seasoned licensed pilots. We offer different types of membership for each personal situation.

• Pilot Membership; for individuals.

• Family Membership; for family members that includes spouse and children under age 22.

• Student Membership; for student age 14 to 22 and enrolled in school.

Soaring Society of America

Membership in the Soaring Society of America is required for all Adrian Soaring Club members. The club will handle the initial SSA membership and annual renewal.

Billing Cycles

Members pay a one-time initiation fee when becoming a member as well as the initial SSA membership. 

Annual dues are charged at the beginning of each soaring season. For a member joining during the season dues are prorated.

For each flight, the club charges a tow fee (based on altitude) and a glider rental cost (based on time). If you have your own glider, just the tow fee is charged.

Each member receives a monthly billing statement at the beginning of each month for the previous month.
